One Tree Hill 2 hour premier

The show begins 4 years later.  Lucas published his book 2 years ago.  Since then, he has been trying to write his second novel, but has writers block.  Lucas is now the head coach of the Ravens with Skills as his assistant head coach.  Brooke is a famous designer of her clothing line, “Clothes over Bro’s”, which is now a multi-million dollar business.  Although all her dreams have come true, she is not very happy.  Peyton has been at the same record label in LA for the past 4 years as an assistant.  This is not want she wants and she is also not very happy, so she quits and decides to go home.  Once she arrives, she finds out that Lucas is dating his editor, Lindsay.  I’m sure this is a love triangle in the works!  We still do not know exactly what happened between Peyton and Lucas…why did she stay in LA for so long?  She was only supposed to stay for the summer.

Nathan lost his NBA dreams he night before the draft.  During a bar fight, he was pushed through a window where a piece of glass went into his back causing nerve damage.  This happened four months ago and Nathan is still depressed and drinking a lot.  Haley is a teacher at Tree Hill and taking care of their 4 year old son, Jaime.  She is not happy with her marriage because Nathan is not trying to get better and is acting like Dan!  At the end of the show, it seems Nathan realizes he has something to live for (Jaime and Haley) and starts trying to walk. Mouth got an entry level job at a TV station, not the reporter job he applied for, but it’s a start.  His boss hates him and tells him so.

Brooke buys a building (where Karen’s café was) to run her company from there, and Peyton is going to start her own record label, with Brooke’s help.  The gang is all back in Tree Hill, and now the drama begins…
